About this role

seeking an experienced permitting specialist to lead
permitting on our New York renewable energy portfolio. The role will prepare,
submit and ensure compliance with land use, environmental, construction and
other permitting needs for utility-scale and distributed-generation solar and
wind projects.

Duties

  • Lead land-use and environmental permitting
    processes, including;

  • Researching and understanding state and local
    laws;

  • Preparing permit applications;

  • Representing Geronimo at local and state
    government meetings and hearings;

  • Managing local law/code amendment processes;

  • Manage government, agency, and consultant relationships;

  • Support and create project mapping and
    planning;

  • Develop and lead community outreach
    strategies;

  • Develop and support project planning
    initiatives;

  • Lead and manage environmental review and
    permitting processes, including wetland, endangered species,
    archaeological/cultural, and engineering review.

Permitting and Land Use experience and experience
liaising with government officials wile complying with local standards.
