minimum of five years’ experience in mining and related permitting and/or
planning;

Fluent
in French/English language in written/verbal required;

Solid
interpersonal skills to interact and effectively engage with regulators, site
staff, functional support and stakeholders;

Bachelor’s
degree in technical field or equivalent experience in site or operations
management;

Knowledge,
background and familiarity with Federal and Quebec environmental and mining
regulations;

Basic
background in site, property, operations or closure management in mining.

About this role

Contributes
to regulatory and technical planning for annual, five year and closure
valuation and budgets;

Engage
multiple stakeholders in planning and execution of permitting and associated
technical studies;

Manage
technical consultants;

Identify,
evaluate and manage permitting risks engaging technical expertise and
functional support as required to ensure that permitting risks are clearly
identified, well understood, effectively controlled and well communicated;

Accountable
for regulatory relations and permitting. Establish and implement permitting
simplification and alignment workplans. Monitor emerging regulations, evaluate
potential impact on business and develop compliance strategies for
implementation by the sites;

Maintain
liaison and strong working relationships with regulators, site personnel, key
contractors, business partners and community stakeholders.

About you

A
