About this role

  • Develop master schedule and update monthly;
  • Develop & update the monthly progress reports;
  • Develop three week look-ahead schedules;
  • Conduct & lead schedule review meetings;
  • Monitor and control the project through the various
    phases of the project lifecycle;
  • Update the schedule and compare the actual work
    performed against the baseline program;
  • Identify and report schedule variances on a weekly basis;
  • Identify activities impacting the schedule’s critical
    path and facilitating the identification of rectification measures;
  • Report on project contingency, and schedule risks and
    opportunities;
  • Manage the interface between the various contracts and
    the owners team.

About you

  • BS in a related field is a plus, 5 plus years as the project scheduler for an EPCM project execution;
  • Knowledge of developing and tracking Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 Schedules for EPCM Projects;
  • Knowledge of earned value management system;
  • Critical path analysis, schedule impact assessments and mitigation analysis;
  • Knowledge of tracking and controlling the engineering release and site installation of bulk commodities;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience running Primavera P6 software for heavy industrial type EPCM projects;
  • Experience working in the EPCM environment and Unit Rate/Lump Sum contracts;
  • Site based experience on industrial projects (Civil/Structural, Mechanical/Piping, Electrical/Instrumentation);
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis in the field;
  • Experience Conducting & leading schedule review meetings.

The project scheduler will be responsible to develop,
maintain, update and monitor the schedule activities and report variances on a
weekly basis to the project management team. The project scheduler will
supervise and provide technical direction for planning/scheduling activities
and schedule updates; ensuring work is completed as scheduled and reported
timely.
