About this role

  • Manage a portfolio of various agreement types by leading low to
    medium value negotiations, and supporting senior team members in higher
    value negotiations, providing strategic input into the development,
    implementation of contracts;
  • Manage the administration in support of portfolio management by
    compiling agreement documentation, recommendations for award and managing
    call offs, changes requests, and amendments;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of contract
    management systems, policies, procedures and templates;
  • Identify and create opportunities for cost reduction and value
    adding in all agreements relating to the provision of goods and services;
  • Provide post-award contractual advice and support to multiple
    Contract Owners and internal/external stakeholder during the ongoing
    lifecycle of the portfolio of contracts by reporting on performance and
    managing contractor relationships to minimize commercial risk;
  • Work proactively within the contracts team and participate constructively
    in the ongoing exchange of knowledge and expertise with peers.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications;
  • Demonstrated understanding of contract law;
  • Knowledge and experience across a broad range of contract
    remuneration regimes, including lump sum and reimbursable;
  • Commercial aptitude with strong experience in developing contract
    pricing schedules and tender evaluation metrics;
  • Ability to draft RFQ/RFP and ITT packages and manage the end to end
    tendering to award execution and close out process.
  • 4-6 years’ experience within the resources sector; Oil &
    Gas/Mining exposure or experience an advantage;
  • Proven track record in the development and management of a range of
    contracts, including goods and services agreements and EPC and EPCM.
