About this role

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plans, coordinates, configures, tests, and implements system
    functionality in Workday HRIS;
  • Must have experience with all phases of
    development/testing/implementation lifecycle -Interfaces with customers to
    gather business requirements, as well as resolve technical and functional
    process issues;
  • Assists in development of documentation for training on new or
    enhanced process/product;
  • -Handles special projects, as assigned;
  • Provides support, guidance and instruction to other HR team members
    -Data integrity and underlying processes to ensure accuracy -Responsible for
    ensuring system security
  • Acts as backup for other HRIS Analysts running
    routine processes;
  • Documents and maintains Workday HRIS procedures, user
    documentation, system updates and maintenance -Work with HR and appropriate
    internal and external partners to define procedures for HR processes that
    involve systems;
  • Coordinate HRIS related policy and procedures;
  • Provides
    Workday training and support of HR staff regarding HRIS tools, reports and
    answers system-related questions;
  • Provides timely, accurate information in
    support of annual processes including Salary Planning and Open Enrollment;
  • Complex monthly Headcounts; adhoc report requests; monitoring ticket
    system/issue log for HRIS;
  • Document functional specifications for system
    enhancements to be submitted to technical team for development;
  • Ensuring
    thorough testing of system enhancements during user acceptance testing;
  • Training new users on existing functionality, existing users on new
    functionality/implementations;
  • Troubleshooting system production issues with
    technical team;
  • Oversee maintenance of and assist in configuration of system
    foundation tables.

General Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related discipline;
  • 5+ years HRIS experience and extensive system knowledge working;
  • 5+ directly with Workday;
  • Proficiency using desktop application software such as Google or
    Microsoft Office -Analytical and issue resolution skills
  • Understands data
    manipulation including data mapping / data translation, data validation
    -Understands Workday System Security architecture -Understands relational
    database and can explain foundation/control tables, effective-dated tables
    -System Testing - able to test system changes and understands quality assurance
    requirements -Strong Customer Service /communication skills -Detail oriented
