About this role

The Project Package Manager is responsible for delivering various FPSO packages to meet project requirements in terms of safety, budget, schedule and quality ensuring that the packages in line with the project procurement strategy.

  • Develops bidders list for assigned RFQ packages, prepare RFQ specific commercial documents and issue RFQ to suppliers for bid. Coordinates clarifications/revisions as required
  • Finalize Commercial Evaluation and identify recommended Supplier
  • Work with Engineering, Operations & Quality to establish product integrity, performance and delivery measures
  • Review/approve purchase orders in conformance with SOP’s DWI’s Ethical Code of Conduct and QS requirements
  • Develop the package procurement strategy in accordance with project procurement strategy, and incorporating lessons learned and input from Package Engineer, Vendor Manager and Project Manager
  • Negotiate price, quality and delivery, select supplier and places purchase orders in conformance to local and corporate operating procedures and ethical codes of conduct
  • Supervise/lead in negotiating contracts with suppliers and/or subcontractors to minimize the liability of the company
  • Ensure all the procurements are carried out in accordance with the applicable procedures
  • Manage the package interface with the vendor during PO execution
  • Budget/revenue responsibility for the topside equipment and packages
  • Investigates and responds to invoice questions, addresses discrepancies with Suppliers and approve final invoice for payments
  • Participate in Corrective Action process. Liaise with Suppliers to ensure CAR responses are timely and results are satisfactory
  • Administer and negotiate Warranty Claims with claim resolution
  • Investigate and respond to Document Control queries concerning Vendor documentation
  • Responsible for the Corporate Supplier database based on the performance of suppliers for each of the various equipment, material and services usually sourced/purchased for the project
Must have thorough understanding of fabrication and installation processes and be familiar with commodities and services used in production process
Demonstrate ins proficiency in mentoring, thinking creatively & project planning

About you

Must have over 10 years of experience with relevant experience in procuring various FPSO packages specifically for pre-salt area such as but not limited to:
o Gas Turbine Generatorso Gas Turbine Compressors
o Emergency Generator Packageso Heat Exchangers
o Control Valveso Cargo Pumps
o LP Gas Compressor (Dry Screw)o MP Gas Compressors (Centrifugal)
o Gas Dehydration System (Molecular Sieve Media)o HP Gas Compressors (Centrifugal)
o Gas Re-Injection Compressors (Centrifugal)o CO2 Removal System
o CO2 Compressorso Reverse Osmosis Package
o Instrument / Utility Air Compressor Packageso Hydraulic Motors
o Control Panelso Analyser packages
o ICSS packageso Instruments packages
o Deck Craneso Water treatment modules
Must have thorough understanding of fabrication and installation processes and be familiar with commodities and services used in production process
Demonstrate ins proficiency in mentoring, thinking creatively & project planning
Prior experience and knowledge of Petrobras specification and standards
