This individual will be required to coordinate procurement packages and communicate company expectations to Procurement contractors and vendors, as well as supporting Quality Lead in execution of project audit plan with respect to procurement contractors. The ideal candidate must be highly detailed, organized, results driven and able to function in a fast paced environment while interfacing directly with major contractors.

About this role

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate company Requirements and expectations to Procurement Contractors/Vendors;

• Attend weekly Procurement Package meetings;

• Attend weekly Package update meetings;

• Coordinate Inspectors at various equipment Fabrication facilities;

• Support Quality Lead in execution of the project audit plan with respect to procurement contractors;

• Coordinate packaged equipment Non-Conformance reports;

• Maintain spreadsheets/programs to monitor equipment documentation, inspection and progress status;

• Review Package inspection reports (from EPC) and report to Project team on progress, issues and concerns;

• Coordinate review of response on vendor quality documents received from Procurement Contractor (including inspection test plans, welding and NDE procedures, dimensional control plans, quality plans, manufacturing records);

• Steward reviews and signoff of equipment in process and final release;

• Coordinate with Site QC leads on communicating on outstanding actions, delivery and receipt of equipment, and ensuring required quality documentation is provided onsite for inspection, integration and preservation.

About you

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years’ experience in oil & gas projects in an equipment/fabrication oversite role;

• 5 years’ experience developing equipment verification plans;

• 5 years’ experience reviewing Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans;

• 5 years’ experience creating monitoring and project tracking databases and spreadsheets;

. Knowledge of Offshore Mechanical/Rotating Equipment;

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/engineering technology;

• Experience working within major project/construction project interfacing directly with major contractors;

• Experience conducting Investigations related to Quality Non-conformance and incidents;

• Knowledge of Industry Standards related to Quality Management systems and Equipment Design/Construction (ISO 9000, API, CSA, NORSOK);

• Working Knowledge of Local regulatory (CNLOPB);

• Working Knowledge and experience with Certifying Authorities (LR,DNV, ABS).

•Knowledge of welding programs (CWB,CSA,NORSOK, ISO,AWS);

• Knowledge of coating practices and procedures (NACE, ISO, NORSOK);

•Knowledge in materials (structural, piping) codes and standards (NACE, ASME, CSA).
