About this role

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Risk analyst to support additional workload for the West White Rose Project. The successful candidate will work closely with the hiring manager to provide Risk Analyst support to entire WWRP. They will also work closely with the Interface Management team, and project teams with the WWRP;

Responsibilities:

  • Support
    maintaining the project risk management process for all specific areas of WWRP
    according to the Husky Project Deliver Model (PDM);

  • Assist
    in regular risk reviews and pertinent project meetings;

  • As
    directed by the manager, engage with Project, EPC contractors, and functional
    teams to capture and collate risk information such as mitigation activities,
    action plans, and inter-dependencies;

  • Provide
    support to project teams to monitor risk mitigation tasks and status updates;

  • Update
    the project risk registers and ensure that the updates are being communicated
    within the project;

  • Support
    reporting project risk management results to internal and external
    stakeholders;

  • Assist
    in collecting data for quantitative and other risk-based analyses and
    supporting exercises;

  • Assist
    in reviews of relevant Contractor risk management processes and related
    documentation.

About you

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree or Diploma or relevant combination of education and experience;

• 3+ years’ experience in Engineering, Project Management, and/or Project Controls;

• 5+ years’ experience in the Energy Industry;

• Experience in risk management or previous direct exposure to risk management;

• Experience using electronic database software;

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite ;

• Experience facilitating meetings;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering, Business, or Finance Degree or Diploma;

• Risk Management Certification;

• P. Eng. or eligible for P. Eng.;

• Project Management Professional, PMP;

• Master’s in Business Administration, MBA;

• Demonstrated knowledge of the drivers influencing oil and gas field development;

• Experience with Energy and/or Oil & Gas projects;

• Experience in Contract Management and/or issues, Disputes, and Claims Management;

• Change Management experience;

• Experience using Risk Management tools – Active Risk Manager (SWORD), or similar;
