About this role

•Responsible
for the site constructions;

•Managing
the team to achieve the accurate milestones designed for the project;

•Responsible
for the pre-commissioning rocedures first fire and commissioning;

•Project
Planning and Monitoring Schedule tasks, deadlines and milestones for all
stakeholders and resources Create Gantt charts in MS Project Create detailed
chart of milestones for all parties Identify schedule uncertainties and risks
Develop schedule contingency plan;

Overall
responsibility for the plant construction;

•Project
Monitoring and Control: Run the project on a day-to-day basis Coordinate
designers, coders, other staff, service providers, and clients Disseminate
information to project team through task and sub-tasks assignment based on
requirements;

•Coordinate
communication between staff and third parties acting on behalf of the client
Efficiently and competently manage problems - when things go off plan (due to
scope-creep, changed requirements, missed deadlines etc.) bring them back on
plan or create a new plan with the assistance of key-stakeholders Intimating
the operation manager to take proper corrective and preventive actions when
there is lagging from the schedule;

•Identifies
deviation from critical path and proposes solutions to revert to original
program. Intimately understand the requirements of the project and ensure that
work proceeds on-spec;

•Evaluate
deliverables prepared by the team to make sure the work meets requirements and
maintains a high level of quality constantly monitor and report on the progress
of a project to all stakeholders Work with Site Engineer as needed to revise
Scope & architecture as needs of the client/project evolve;

•Manage
and Co-ordinate the updating of reporting plan and progress by: Conducting cost
verses budget analysis. Reporting the cost impact of any variance from
schedule. Reports any significant changes to the project schedule and its cost
significance;

•Manage
project risk Developing project risk management strategy Implementing a project
risk management infrastructure Generally

•Managing
within the risk management context, for example setting objectives,
forecasting, planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling and
communication Marginal Functions Supervise the Project Procurement activities;

•Communicate
with customers related to project pitfall clarification and related issues;

•Coordinate
with accounts and finance to follow up the availability of required resource
Submit analytical reports to senior management when required with prior
approval of operation and contract manager.

About you

•Engineering
Degree with minimum 15+ years of experience in plant construction projects
especially into power & desalination plants is must.
