Job description

Within this department, the Regulatory Affairs Project Manager (RAPM) position would develop and lead regulatory strategies and would execute regulatory activities in order to successfully achieve and maintain registrations in compliance with all Canadian regulatory requirements. The RAPM is responsible for managing a portfolio of therapeutic area brands to meet the needs of the Regulatory Affairs Department including executing strategic and complex regulatory applications.  The position would also lead the direct engagement of external stakeholders along with building a strong working relationship with local and global functions in the management of regulatory activities. 


About you

Our client is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Project Manager with the following Education and experience: 

  • B.Sc. (required) or M.Sc (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Food and Drugs Act and Regulations in addition to applicable Natural Health Products Regulations, Medical Devices Regulations, Cosmetic Regulations, Pest Control Products Act and Regulations, Canada Consumer Products Safety Act and Provincial Regulations
  • Candidates must have demonstrated success in a regulatory environment (e.g. experience leading a Regulatory submission team), and knowledge of drug development (clinical studies, chemistry and manufacturing etc.) in the healthcare industry.
  • Min 4 years in Regulatory Affairs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess scientific data.
