About this role

• Ensure that “Duty of care” and “Zero harm” are the first consideration in any matter• Drive continuous improvement in this area through the implementation of the Behavioural Safety
Programme and other initiatives as required.• Implement and support the Company’s Health, Safety, Environment and Risk Management systems
and associated policies and procedures as advised by the Shared Services Group• Support and comply with all other Company policies and procedures as advised by the Shared
Services Group• With the support of the Shared Services group, manage the operations to comply with all Local, State
and Federal Government Laws• Maintain a strong management presence at all operating sites, both directly and through
management team• Through the effective deployment of operations and maintenance planning and resources, meet and,
where possible, exceed targets for production and revenue for all RE power generation operationscovering Remote Energy sites in WA and SA
• Meet or exceed the RE EBITDA less SIB budget• Manage capital works program within annual SIB budget
• Contribute to and execute EDL’s Strategic Asset Management strategy• Ensure that the provision of services to all RE customers is as per agreements and contracts. Liaise
regularly with those customers to maintain positive and functional relationships as the Company’srepresentative. This will include the requisite travel to the various sites as and when required.
• Identify new business opportunities and “adjacencies”, within the existing customer base and without,and assist the Business Development Dept. to develop these opportunities into profitable agreements
and contracts• Through the effective deployment of operations and maintenance planning and resources, meet and,
where possible, exceed targets for best in class costs for all RE power generation operations coveringRemote Energy sites in WA and SA
• Maintain close collaboration with peers across the business to ensure the optimal use of companyresources through internal labour sharing under the “One Australia” concept, and thereby reducing
contractor costs. Ensure that appropriate business and asset management plans and budgets areprepared for the Company’s consideration according to an agreed format and within set time frames.
• With the support of the Engineering group and the Operational Excellence group, contribute to andimplement best practice maintenance efficiency

- Risk analysis and strategic operations planning- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
• An in-depth knowledge, experience and proven ability in the following areas is essential:- Relationship management
- Seeing and sensing new business opportunities- Assisting in the generation of new business opportunities
- Forming strategic alliances/partnerships with suppliers and/or competitors• Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft suite of packages

What we offer

Based in the Perth CBD you will be covering operations in Western Australia and South Australia.

This is a full time position Mon - Friday, 40 hours per week.
